Ethan’s Cycling Challenge for Asha Kiran

This September I plan to travel to North East India, to a state called Odisha.  I am hoping to volunteer at the ‘Asha Kiran’ society (meaning ‘ray of hope’) that offers essential healthcare to people in tribal areas and works on  projects aiming to equip people with skills required to work and access education, training and development opportunities.

 I have family working for the charity and am looking forward to spending time with them and learning about their work - including in the local school.

 I am cycling from Leeds to Liverpool (130 miles) on 22nd September in order to raise funds for school equipment such as computers.
