ECFC Building Transformation Project

Story

Our 1970s building in the heart of Easton, right next to the primary School, is well used by a wide range of community and faith organisations.  It also houses our Community Café, Baraka, and provides office space for a number of like-minded organisations.

But the building is tired and in places the insulation is very poor.  This project is to bring it up to modern standards, and to improve the facilities to meet contemporary and anticipated needs – both for the church and for the other organisations who use it.  The project has a significant emphasis on energy efficiency, including the expansion of our existing solar energy PV system with further panels over the majority of the flat roof area.
