'Marathon' for 'a Mile' Eastbourne to Brighton Challenge

This September, we are walking 'a marathon' to help others ‘walk a mile’ in another’s shoes!

We have taken upon ourselves to sponsor one of Empathy Action’s immersive workshops for a school that are unable to finance it to help raise empathy and compassion but also to allow access to the schools that are financially challenged. We want to raise £1500.

We’ve come up with the plan to walk from Eastbourne to Brighton. It’s approximately 40 km or the length of a marathon.

Walking this distance brings to mind the proverb closely linked to empathy, to know someone you must first walk a mile in their shoes. And so we will walk a marathon so others can walk that mile.

We have a team of 11 made up of Marius, Ruben, Travis, Chung, Toby, Miles, Tobias, Josh, Leo, Alex & Kitt.
