Story

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Highland Perthshire Debt Centre, a project of Aberfeldy Parish Church, is part of the CAP UK network. Its mission is to provide hope and practical support, through the provision of free debt counselling, to those living in the Highland Perthshire area who struggle with financial problems and debt.

Through a series of 3 meetings, our Debt Coaches gather the paperwork and information from the client, so that CAP UK can work out a budget and the best route out of debt, bringing people through to financial freedom. Since 2014 we have helped over 65 clients, with 21 becoming debt free so far.Its costs around £45,000 a year to provide this life-changing service.
