Bristol Methodist Centre - Fools For Christ
Homelessness is no joke!
Closing date: 24 April 2023
Story
On Saturday 1st April, members of the Bristol and South Gloucestershire Methodist Circuit walked 12.5 miles and cycled 35 miles around Bristol along heart-shaped routes around the Methodist Centre, stopping off and churches and mission projects along the way.
It was April Fools' Day, but Homelessness is no joke!
(As the persistent rain reminded us).
At each place prayers were said for the mission of God across the City, and the pilgrims were sent on their way (fuelled by quantities of cake!)
Donations will be used to keep Bristol Methodist Centre offering the fantastic hospitality and support that it gives week by week to adults suffering with homelessness and/or who are vulnerable in Bristol. That means hot food, showers, laundry, clothing, computer access, phone charging, skilled advice and advocacy, chaplaincy, a community to belong to and much more.
Thank you for your support. All donations, however large or small, will be received by the Centre with gratitude and put to good use.
