As war unfolded in Ukraine, we invited you to join our Ukraine Rapid Response appeal to raise support for ministries already on the ground in Ukraine, and those working with arrivals to the UK seeking refuge.
We saw such incredible generosity outpoured, raising just under £365,000 for distribution among our network. One highlight we’re delighted to share is the work of All Saints Preston, who have welcomed 38 brothers and sisters fleeing Kharkiv; the church received a grant of £10,000 from the Ukraine Rapid Response appeal, which was match-funded by a Philanthropy Fund donor. The church has now launched a fundraising appeal to raise a further £80,000 to help resource their generous hospitality.

She has over 25 years’ marketing communications experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, technology and the arts, both business- and customer-facing.
Ruth worships and serves at C3 Church in Cambridge where she lives with her husband, two teenage daughters, a dog and a cat. When she’s not at her desk, you might find her rowing on the River Cam, in a ballet class or out for a walk.
She supports causes that are focused on alleviating global poverty and injustice, with a particular interest in supporting vulnerable children.
