Professional Services Director

Would you like to use your financial leadership and governance expertise to rapidly grow a charity business and powerfully serve the Church and society?

Stewardship helps the Christian community give and strengthens the causes they give to. We are best known for our individual giving services which help over 34,000 individuals to give almost £70million each year, to our database of over 14,000 charitable causes. But, we are also committed to strengthening Christian causes by offering practical, tailored support to help Churches and Christian charities to transform the world.

These services which are led by our talented team of qualified professionals, include accounts examination, payroll, mortgages, help with charity formation, consultancy and deposit accounts., We go beyond simple compliance and provide advice to clients on a wide range of financial insight, governance and regulation from a biblical and kingdom perspective.

Over the years, we have developed finely-tuned specialist expertise and a very strong reputation, evidenced by exceptional feedback from our clients and the rapid growth in our client base that, with limited organisational support and investment, is growing by as much as 30% per annum. Moreover, through our individual giving service, we benefit from a brand that is well recognised and respected in the Christian community and relationships with our target market that provide an easy point of introduction.

We are, therefore, supremely positioned to grow both the scope and scale of the professional services we offer and the much needed financial and governance leadership of the sector. To that end, we are creating the role of Professional Services Director.

Operating with a high level of autonomy, leading a small but growing team and backed by the support of the board and the resources needed, you will be a servant hearted and entrepreneurial leader with experience in managing and developing service lines in a professional advisory organisation.

This is an opportunity to use your personal calling and expertise in financial leadership and governance to shape and lead our professional services strategy to deliver this step-change in growth and so powerfully influence the UK Church and society.
