Story

Harnham Parish, in collaboration with Harnham Community Network, is transforming the 60-year-old Parish Hall on Lower Street, Harnham, Salisbury into Harnham Hub, a centre of activity and outreach for the whole community of Harnham.

Harnham Hub, with its adjacent field and car park, will become a place where everyone is welcome, that’s fully accessible to all, that’s flexible for multiple uses, that’s environmentally friendly, and equipped for the 21st Century.

We have already raised £180,000, and have created a brand new, fully equipped kitchen, installed energy efficient underfloor heating throughout the building,  restored and insulated the Main Hall ceiling, introduced LED lighting and renovated our Meeting Room. The heating is powered by two air source heat pumps, and our electricity supply is from 100% renewable sources.
