Sarah joined our Accounts Examination Team in 2022 as an Examiner, supporting churches and charities with their year end accounts preparation and acting as an independent examiner. She is a chartered accountant with 16 years’ experience in a wide range of financial roles and a particular interest in the not-for-profit sector. She has also been a volunteer treasurer and trustee for several charities over the years and is currently treasurer of a local Christian counselling charity.
Sarah lives in the Peak District with her husband and 3 teenage boys. She is a member of an active local church where she is part of the finance team and serves as the music ministry co-ordinator. She loves cooking, walking in the surrounding hills and playing cello in a local orchestra.
Sarah and her family support a range of causes with each family member championing a different organisation. These include mission partners in the Middle East, and support for overseas development & the persecuted church.
