Edward Mishambi serves as SVP and Chief Risk Officer- Europe at RenaissanceRe. He is based in London and is responsible for leading RenaissanceRe’s European risk management function.
A Rhodes Scholar, he attended Oxford University and graduated with an MSc in Environmental Change and Management. He holds a BSc (Honors) in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
In addition to serving as a Trustee at his local church in Windsor, Edward also serves on the board of Friends of Wildlife (Uganda). He is passionate about collaborative initiatives across public and private sectors to build sustainable development in vulnerable communities and lessen the impacts of economic and environmental disasters. Edward grew up in Uganda. He is married to Rachel, and they have four children.
