Many Christian workers scrape by financially, but that doesn’t need to be the case. We offer our Individual Partners, and those who receive their personal support for ministry into a Partner Account for a Church or Charity, subsidised Support Raising Training. Together we look at support raising in the Bible, challenge misconceptions and fears around support raising, and equip you to build a team of partners who stand with you in prayer, encourage you and partner financially.
Our training will help you discover that support raising is much more than a financial transaction. It's about partnership in the Gospel. You will Come away with a plan to grow your support team by at least four new partners.
Who is it for?
Our training is for those who receive their personal support for ministry into either their Stewardship Partner Account for Individuals or their organisation’s Stewardship Partner Account for Churches or Charities.
Please see below for course costs, dates and to get started with our short video series.
To make it accessible, we subsidise the training. The cost of the training is £145.50 per person.
Why the odd amount?!
We mentioned we want you to go away with a plan to grow your team by four new partners. Four new partners giving an average of £30 a month plus Gift Aid, would result in an increase of…you guessed it…£145.50 per month. Once you see what is achievable and how, we want to see you continue and reach your support target.
If you are married, we really encourage both spouses to do the training, even if only one of you is in a support raising role, so you both understand the journey. You will need to buy one ticket each. We ask you to join using separate devices where possible for managing breakout groups and to allow you to have your own journeys which you can then bring together.
Help with the cost
If the cost causes any difficulty, we have a fund to help towards the cost so please don't allow finance to be an obstacle. For more details, please contact our team and we will happily send you details.
January course dates
The training is made up of six sessions over three weeks. We know you will have more questions once you get going after the training. So we offer an optional one-hour follow-up session one month later where you can bring your questions and concerns.
Our January course runs on the following dates and attendance is required at all sessions.
The training is designed to be undertaken as a whole, therefore attendance at all sessions is required.
If you are interested in future dates, please contact our team.
