Is it harder for Christian charities to raise money than it is for other charities? At this event we look at some unique challenges – and opportunities – that apply to fundraising for Christian causes.

In partnership with Action Planning, our aim is to help you discover effective practical solutions for your fundraising goals. David Saint and Sean Tully will share from their extensive accumulated experience of working with Christian charities to help you plan a fundraising strategy that is appropriate for your particular cause.

What topics will the training cover?

  • A framework for a fundraising strategy
  • Why people give? and what difference it makes if they are Christian?
  • The implications of the ‘spectrum of Christian distinctiveness’
  • How to ask?
  • The key components of a powerful case for support
  • An overview of funding sources and how to pick the right fundraising mix for your organisation
  • Raising money from trusts
  • ‘Killer questions’ to ask your fundraisers

Who is it for?

This training is suitable for those who are responsible for overseeing fundraising for a Christian Charity.

  • Trustees
  • Chief Executives
  • Fundraising Directors
  • Fundraising Managers
  • Volunteer fundraisers

If you are an individual raising personal support and are looking for training based on this topic, you will need to book for our ‘Support Raising Training'.

It is also suitable for all sizes and types of Christian charities, although will probably be of greatest relevance for those with incomes between circa £100k and £10m.
