In the UK, private sector employers lose £43-46 billion each year to poor workplace mental health, from a combination of sickness absence, presenteeism, and costs associated with workforce turnover. In 2022 CCLA launched the Corporate Mental Health Benchmark which ranks 101 UK-listed companies on their approach to workplace mental health into one of five performance tiers.
In Christianity, hope is a big deal, and looking at Jesus’ perspective on mental health can give comfort and guidance to those who are struggling.
CCLA and Stewardship are excited to invite you to an evening with Partner Charities to hear inspiring stories about the outreach activities that each organisation is enabling for Kingdom impact:
- Renew Wellbeing helps churches open spaces of welcome and inclusion in partnership with mental health teams to improve mental and emotional wellbeing.
- Friendship Lab empowers adults to build thriving friendships through evidence-based courses, training, and media engagement, addressing the loneliness crisis
- Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries equips the Church to support mental health and wellbeing through courses, resources and partnerships.
Tickets are free of charge and spaces are limited. Drinks and nibbles provided. Please consider who you could invite to hear more about the important work of these organisations.
We hope to see you there!
