Myriad is a Christian charity based in the UK, inspiring everyday people to form new worshipping communities and make disciples where they live and serve.

In a context where many people feel distant from church and faith, we believe the Holy Spirit is renewing the Church as a disciple-making movement, with ordinary people playing a vital role. Our work is rooted in prayer, relational learning and support, helping communities grow sustainably in their local context.

Our vision

Our vision is to see new church communities formed across the UK, shaped by prayer, centred on Jesus and rooted in local contexts. We long to see the Church renewed as a movement of disciples who make disciples, responding faithfully to what God is doing in our time.

What we do

Myriad supports emerging and growing church communities through the Myriad Learning Pathway, a 2.5-year journey designed to work alongside peoples existing lives and commitments.

The Pathway includes:

• Learning hubs, where 6-12 teams gather for shared learning, prayer and reflection
• Small teams of typically 2-6 people forming communities in their local context
• Mentoring from experienced missional leaders
• Oversight from local ministers, providing pastoral care and accountability
• Online resources to support flexibility and ongoing learning

The Pathway is shaped by prayer, relational learning and a commitment to sustainability, helping communities grow in ways that are realistic, rooted and faithful.

Impact and future direction

Since 2022, Myriad has supported the formation of new worshipping communities through a growing network of training hubs across the UK.

To date, this includes:

• 12 training hubs started across the country
• Over 100 teams supported
• More than 400 people taking part in the Myriad Pathway

As Myriad becomes an independent charity, new hubs are in preparation, with further growth being explored in additional locations. Our focus remains on careful, sustainable development strengthening existing hubs while supporting new ones as they emerge.
