The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) is one of the leading centres for church multiplication in the UK.

We work across denominations, equipping leaders to reach new people in new and renewed ways with the love of Jesus. Our vision is to see a thriving church in every community, reaching every person with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Only 6% of the UK population identify themselves as practising Christians. There is an urgency to share the hope of the gospel with the 94% who dont have an active faith. There is a hunger for purpose in our society, and we long to help the Church reach people where they are at, creating spaces to encounter Jesus and disciple a new generation.

Reaching new people

One of the most effective ways to reach new people, especially younger generations, is by starting something new. Your support of CCX would help equip leaders to establish new worshipping communities across the nation in a rich diversity of contexts - like Springfield Church on the Roundshaw Estate, where Sharron lives.

Our Impact

Over the last decade, we have trained and equipped thousands of leaders and enabled over a thousand new worshipping communities, with tens of thousands of new people reached with the gospel as a result.

Scott's Story

Scott Bourne grew up on estates, getting caught up in gangs and drug abuse from an early age. His life was transformed after an encounter with Jesus at church@five, a church on the Strawberry Vale Estate in North London. As Scott became a part of the church@five community, he was drawn into the presence of Jesus and was excited to learn more about what Jesus had to say over his life.

The latest step in Scott's journey has seen him join the CCX Estates Apprenticeship Scheme, where he and other apprentices are learning skills of Christian leadership from an experienced estates practitioner. Scott is now helping to lead the church@five 'Families Church' on a neighbouring estate.

'My passion is to reach our younger generation, I think that's where the power of church is gonna be,' explains Scott. 'I want to change the dynamic of how they might feel. Not that they have to come in and act a certain way and be certain people to go in. No, there's power in you being who you are. There is a better life for you through Jesus.'

Join in the mission

By donating to the work of CCX, you would support the training and equipping of ordained and everyday leaders to start new and grow existing communities across the country. Would you join us in helping existing churches to grow, to equip pioneers and leaders on estates to reach people in their local communities, to support the church in urban, rural and multicultural settings?

We are committed to helping the Church of England plant 10,000 New Worshipping Communities and to help equip a parallel movement across other denominations. This is a bold ambition, but we do not do it on our own. We believe that God is on the move, doing a new thing in his Church in the UK and we want to play our part. We would love you to join us!
