Our vision is for every refugee to be welcomed by the UK church.
Our growing Welcome Network of over 1,400 local churches connects refugees with new friends from the local church when they first arrive in a community. We provide training, resources and support to local churches to help them to give a cross-cultural, traume-informed welcome. Last year we saw over 20,000 refugees welcomed by their local church across the UK.
Abbas, Kurdish refugee
“Before I found the church, I was really struggling. All my family was gone. I felt so lonely and lost. I remember the first time I visited my church; I felt so welcome and I found a new life. I was really encouraged, especially when people prayed for me. I had lost my whole family, but with my church I have found a new home and a new family.”
Your support can help more refugees, like Abbas, find a place to belong and call home in the UK.
