Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development

Founded in 1998, LSESD aims to strengthen the witness of the Church in Lebanon and the region through
1) Equipping the Church (Ephesians 4:12-13). Nurturing and training faithful women & men and developing context-relevant Christian resources.
2) Serving Society (Isaiah 1:17) as a practical reflection of our love for God through our love for our neighbor; addressing issues of poverty and vulnerability mainly through: i) Emergency relief and development; and ii) Inclusive education.

LSESD's approach is a holistic integrated one that reflects the full meaning of the Gospel as Word & deed, and is made possible through LSESD's family of ministries, each with its distinctive focus, be it leadership and/or resource development, emergency relief, community development, inclusive education, psychosocial support… with the Good News of the Gospel integrated in every aspect of who we are & what we do.
