Whilst studying at the International Christian College in Glasgow between 2000 and 2003 Gabriel Kijjambu sensed God's call to return to his native Uganda. In 2002 Gabriel had a vision to establish a five pronged project comprising a church, school, clinic, orphanage and farm. With the help of friends in Glasgow 22 acres of ground were purchased in the Luwero area, some 60 miles north of Kampala. The growth and development since then is a modern day miracle. The project comprises a church, a primary school, a secondary school and a vocational college; a farm; a clinic and a child sponsorship programme. Gabriel is assisted by a team of around 50 staff and volunteers.
Luwero Community Projects (LCP) is a charity registered in Scotland established to promote the vision and work at Kiryanyonza Village, Luwero, Uganda under Gabriel's leadership, we thank you for your ongoing support, if you would like to find out more please visit the website.
