British Earthquake And Tsunami Support (BEATS)

BEATS charity principally works in Indonesia, making grants to provide

• housing,
• educational needs,
• micro-business start-up support,
• disaster-preparedness training,
• disaster relief aid,
• food,
• other needs

for victims of earthquakes and tsunamis. BEATS also helps with emotional and spiritual support.

BEATS currently partners with the following organisations:

GBI-JBA Church in Ambon, organising

1. Rebuilding of destroyed homes.
2. Micro-business loans
3. Child/family sponsorship.

Christians and Muslims

The recipients of House No. 19 invite friends and neighbours for a thanksgiving service.

YACAN Christian Children's Home in Medan, Sumatra, including support for a previous headteacher, Habel, who is overseeing education of young adults who are no longer living at the Children's Home.
