The Anglican Communion, consisting of 42 provinces that span 165 countries and include 85 million people, has significant reach and enormous potential. The ACF aims to harness this potential, making small investments across the church, which in the right hands, can have substantial impact. A vital component of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s global ministry, the Anglican Communion Fund supports the Church in three main areas:

 Strategic Initiatives Building the capacity of the Church, strengthening its leadership, enhancing its ability to implement effective ministry, and supporting it to be a source of stability in its community. Representation Maximising the influence of the Archbishop of Canterbury on global policy, providing for Anglican voices to speak into and influence key global forums, such as the United Nations and European Institutions.Times of Crisis Bolstering the Church in times of great need and in the midst of unexpected circumstances.
