Partner profile
Lloyd is British and lives in Pattaya. He is married to Susi and has a son, Sebastian, born in 2017, and baptised the same year. Lloyd works part-time as an online English Teacher to make ends meet.
Lloyd says, "Pattaya is a desperate place, so much poverty alongside obscene excess. Nowhere else on Earth have I seen a place more in need of the example of Christ."
Lloyd has recently developed a Healthcare Equipment lending scheme providing support to folk with acute and chronic illnesses.
Prior to Thailand, Lloyd had travelled throughout Asia with his friend in 2011. Before travelling, he had spent a year learning how to be a Dive Master on Lanzarote.
Lloyd worked for 15 years within the UK voluntary sector, with St Mungo’s in London and Catching Lives (formerly The Scrine Foundation) in Canterbury; fighting for solutions to homelessness.
He has experience of social welfare in relation to Housing, Health, Education and Employment which he applies to the parish in Thailand.
