  • Colburn Community Support was officially launched in March 2022 and is built on Christian foundations.
  • It is a faith-based organisation, but we are not faith biased.
  • We use the following verse from the book of Proverbs as one of our aims and objectives.
  • "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
  • Ultimately, were an organisation who want to offer a listening ear and friendly face supporting the local community.

Colburn Community Support supports individuals and families in the community by offering:

  • Practical, emotional, admin & educational support to local families
  • Budgeting & financial management advice
  • Help with CVs, job applications & benefit forms
  • Bereavement support to those losing loved ones in difficult circumstances
  • support at the local branch of Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (www.uksobs.org)
  • Advocacy services
  • A listening ear and a friendly face
  • We aim to offer a service that is compassionate, personalised & empowering.
  • We are based at various locations in Colburn, or we can meet at a place to suit you.
