We work to enable the very poor to build a pathway out of poverty. We believe that with training and support, microcredit can unlock the personal and economic potential of the poorest communities, offering the opportunity to achieve a life free from poverty, with dignity and purpose. We work in Kisumu, Kenya, and the Sikasso region of South Mali. In Kisumu, which has Kenya's highest rate of HIV/AIDS, local staff work with women and girls to enable them to support their dependents. By providing business training, mentoring and micro credit, staff enable clients to set up and grow micro businesses to provide an income. In Sikasso, training and micro credit enable villagers to breed goats, providing both income and compost to reinvigorate depleted land.
As Christians, we are responding to Christ’s call to love and serve the poor. We serve all people regardless of race, faith, ethnicity and gender. Run by UK volunteers, every penny donated plus all gift aid goes to fund these projects
