Hey I’m Rorie and following my year serving as the Relay Worker with UCCF at the University of Strathclyde Christian Union, I'm the Ministry Trainee at Greenview Church in Glasgow!

The scheme I’ll be doing is designed to grow the Trainee in spiritual maturity, equip me for further service, and to assess my character and gifts for future ministry. I receive teaching and training from Cornhill twice a week on how I can teach others from the Bible whilst deepening my own relationship with God. The remaining days of the week I’m be based at the church and help prepare materials for group Bible studies; shadowing the Pastor in some aspects of pastoral work; and giving a helping hand with other aspects of the life of the church on a Sunday and throughout the week.

The financial  support I receive will go towards living expenses, training materials and travelling costs. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead in this role and any support I receive would be greatly appreciated!
