Above us Only Sky?

Above Us Only Sky? is a Christian charity, started out of a need to find immediate solutions for those living rough on the streets. Our vision is to provide a military-style, all-weather, waterproof sleeping bag to anyone who finds themselves homeless. However, the sleeping bag is just the start; we aim to build loving relationships with the homeless, to meet not just their physical but also their spiritual needs, to show them God's love and to treat them with respect and dignity.

Above Us Only Sky? is not just a reference to the fact that the homeless don't have a roof over their heads; it also alludes to the fact that there is more to life than this, that there is a God in heaven who loves us and wants us to find salvation and eternal life through His son, Jesus. This is something that we share with the homeless that we are working with, showing them the love of God by meeting their immediate needs with the hope that, as we share the gospel, many more will come to faith.
