Children
Lifecentre is a small Christian charity making a big difference in the heart of Langworthy in Salford. We work alongside the local community on our shared aim of community transformation.
Lifecentre has a range of projects, mostly delivered by amazing volunteers: a free Legal Advice clinic on family law; counselling; a women's running group; Buggy Movers to help new parents get active, and Salford Scorpions, a flag American football team.
For children and young people we have a Nurture Breakfast Group every term time morning to help children have a better start to their school day; six holiday clubs across Salford to challenge holiday hunger; a transition group to support children making the big move to High School, Paired Up Reading to link the generations together to support children's reading, and our Jesus and Me after school clubs for children wanting to know more about the Christian faith.
