Myra's Wells

Myra's Wells is a Christian Charity providing wells in Burkina Faso in villages and areas of towns where there is insufficient clean water.

At the end of 2022, Myra's Wells has provided over 270 wells. Most have been finished using hand pumps but there has been a recent move to provide more with water towers (filled using solar powered pumps) and taps.

Water is made available to everyone who needs it, irrespective of enthic, religious or any other background.

We make it clear to the local people that we are providing wells in the name of Jesus and local pastors and evangelists use this as a means of teaching the gospel. In many locations, there have been many confessing faith in the Lord Jesus, being baptised and added to the local church.
