Linlithgow Young People’s Project (LYPP) was planted 30 years ago in the heart of the community, with young people at it's heart, in partnership with the local churches.
Our purpose then, as it is today, is to support the young people of Linlithgow, Bridgend and the surrounding areas in all aspects of their development, and to foster a sense of ‘hope’ in their lives and circumstances.
Every year we engage with over 1000 young people through a range of activities which enable them to express themselves in a variety of ways and create opportunities for them to learn about themselves and develop new skills. Each week we run one to one mentoring sessions, games clubs, Lego clubs, football projects, youth volunteering opportunities, open drop in's, targeted youth work, schools work, accreditation opportunities, and a professional youth counselling service. We also run busy holiday programmes, community events and produce newsletters in partnership with other local organisations.
