Giving to the church is not simply about keeping things running but a way in which we can respond to God in thanks for all He has done for us in sending Jesus. The money enables the church to do its job of reaching out to others in a variety of different ways, for example:

• meeting the churchs running costs
• staffing costs
• supporting other parishes
• the churchs wider mission
• social work and helping others in need
• financing local mission and outreach.

Giving regularly is the best way for church members to support the church since it allows the church to budget for the future. We can help you to give regularly in the following ways:

2. You can also download a bank standing order form and send it to our treasurer ([email protected]), and the bank can transfer your money for you.

3. If you wish to give weekly by cash, please ask for a supply of weekly offering envelopes, which you can put in the offering plate when you come to church.

4. If you wish to give a one off, you can use Stewardship, which can also include Gift Aid automatically (which is very helpful).

However you choose to give, it is of great help to us if you Gift Aid your contribution. The church is then able to claim back from the government 25p for every 1 that you give to the church. To gift aid your donation, you must be a UK taxpayer (income tax or capital gains tax) and have filled in a gift aid declaration and returned it to our treasurer ([email protected]).
