Chaplaincy Plus

ChaplaincyPlus is an ecumenical community dedicated to supporting, equipping, and encouraging the outworking of the Christian faith in the workplace. Whether through one-on-one DrawBreath conversations, network group gatherings, workshops or events, ChaplaincyPlus helps individuals live out their calling and be a positive influence in their professions.

ChaplaincyPlus has faithfully served the Birmingham area since its inception in 2003.

We host network-wide events to equip and encourage one another to be "salt and light" (Matthew 5:13-16) in our respective workplaces. We regularly collaborate with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC, pictured below) to highlight the importance of whole-life discipleship.

We have a team available for DrawBreath conversations, providing space to notice where you are and how you are, in your work and in life. These conversations are available in person in Birmingham city centre or online.

We also have a variety of network groups to foster community and meaingful relationships, so that we can encourage one another to live out our faith in the workplace.

Our Christmas event, Carols for the Business Community (pictured below), provides a welcoming space for those working in and around Birmingham city centre to take an hour to pause amidst the busy Christmas period and to reflect on the reason we celebrate Christmas.

This annual event is a highlight in the ChaplaincyPlus calendar. In recent years we have welcomed up to 400 guests at the service in St Philips Cathedral in the heart of Birmingham.
