South West Youth Ministries

Our vision is that every child and young person in the South West would encounter Jesus, come to know him, and make a choice to live for more.

One of the main ways we work towards our vision is by placing trainee youth and childrens workers in local churches, schools and community projects. These trainees bring fresh energy and passion, becoming positive Christian role models right where young people are. We offer a range of full-time training courses from Gap Year to Degree level, equipping those who are called to serve with the theological grounding and practical experience withing the context of spiritual formation.

We also run a wide range of activities designed to help young people explore faith and grow in discipleship. From small residential gatherings to large-scale events like Spree SW, these times away provide safe, relevant and exciting spaces for children and young people to encounter God, worship together, and be encouraged to live out their faith in everyday life.

We believe in raising up the next generation of leaders, offering discipleship resources such as TAG Young Leaders, to help young people deepen their faith, grow in character and step confidently into leadership.

We have recently launched 360 Community – a year-round rhythm of encouragement, training and rest for childrens, youth and families workers across the South West. 360 Community provides connection, support and peer encouragement, helping leaders know they are not alone, and giving them the confidence and tools they need to flourish in ministry for the long haul.
