The DATIC Trust runs Galeed House. Galeed means "Place of Friendship".
Galeed House first opened in 2001 and has been welcoming the people of Darnall through its doors ever since. Our vision is to help people from different races, faiths and cultures to build relationships of trust and friendship, in which the love of God through Jesus Christ is demonstrated.
Our work is lead by our Community Worker, Amer Amran, who is supported by a large number of volunteers from churches across the city. We provide men's and women's English lessons, homework and activity clubs for children and outreach across Darnall and Firth Park.
This is a place where you can learn new skills, practice your English and make friends. All are welcome to join us.
