Church Army

Who we are

Church Army is a Christian charity passionate about transforming lives by sharing faith. We meet and love people wherever they are and point them to the God who is all-powerful and all-loving. Our army of hope is made up of people with shared values and the same calling: to put faith into action. We want to ignite faith in Jesus, restoring life; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We do this through working in places where hope is hard to find, journeying with people and giving them the opportunity to meet and connect with God who restores and brings life in all its fullness. We work to be beacons of light in communities, primarily through our projects and Centres of Mission.

Last year we provided nearly 42,000 safe nights to women and young people, and over 24,000 food parcels to struggling families and individuals. Nearly 20,000 people explored faith with us last year, through youth groups, fresh expressions of church, at our projects, or through conversation with one of our trained evangelists or chaplains.

We also have Centres of Mission in towns and cities across the UK which are led by one or more of our trained evangelists and are hubs, working to build relationships and find creative and vibrant new expressions of church that are intentionally community and context led. This includes fellowship groups, drop-ins, foodbanks, creative workshops, training, youth clubs and more.
