Big Ullswater Foodbank Walk

Story

On Saturday, 27 June 2026, Steve and Rick will be walking the full Ullswater Way circuit to raise money for North Lakes Foodbank.

It’s around 20 miles / 32km around Ullswater, with a bit of fell climbing thrown in, so it’ll be a decent challenge and a long day on our feet.

We’ve chosen North Lakes Foodbank because it’s a cause close to home. Our church already supports their work, and Rick is also involved with North Lakes Foodbank through his role in Round Table. We’ve seen how important their support is for local people and families who are struggling, and we wanted to do something practical to help. We’re aiming to raise £500, and every donation will make a difference. However much you can spare, it all helps support people in crisis across West Cumbria
