Terry's 'Virtual' Camino

Story

In 2019 I walked the last 170 miles of the Camino to Santiago de Compostela to raise funds for the Rainbow Centre.  

I dearly wanted to return and walk the entire 480 miles of the Camino Frances, but I don’t think my health will ever let me do that.  As an alternative, on 10th January 2022, I committed that by my 82nd birthday (exactly 60 weeks after setting out), I would have walked the virtual route on the ground in the UK.  On the 25th September 2022, I completed the distance in 35 weeks and 3 days, over 24 weeks early!!  It has been particularly enjoyable during the past month or two during which I have covered the same 272 km that I did in real life in April 2019.

Thank you for helping me support the Rainbow Centre, particularly the new Money Matters service.  The current cost of living crisis makes every penny that you can spare doubly valuable.
