Story
On Friday 13th March 2020, the Studio Tashkeel Architecture team are taking part in the first ever Embassy Bus Pull Challenge!
We are hoping to pull the 17.5 tonne bus over 40 metres in the quickest time and raise money for the Homeless in the process.
The Embassy Bus has the capacity to reduce the number of homeless people sleeping on the streets of Manchester by using their ex-tour bus that was once used by Snow Patrol and Coldplay. The aim is to keep homeless people safe, help them re-engage with the re-housing process, connect them to jobs and provide support so they’re not isolated once re-housed. In 2019, Embassy were able to provide over 4000 nights off the street per year and they need us to continue to do this in 2020! By taking part in the Embassy Bus Pull challenge, we are doing so much more than just giving our spare change or buying a sandwich, we are giving the homeless hope.
Thanks so much for your support!
