Story

It ain't Italy but...

Having abandoned our Covid delayed, thrice rearranged, cycle trip to Sicily with local cycle group Gasbags, we have decided to pedal (no electric bikes) our way up our glorious North-East coast. Starting from Tynemouth on Sunday 13th June we aim, if we keep the sea to our right and our feet dry, to arrive in Edinburgh on Thursday 17th, some 170 miles later.

As well as the adventure and endorphins we expect to enjoy on the way, this is a not to be missed opportunity to raise some much-needed cash for the vital work of the Middlesbrough Foodbank. We are sure we don’t need to tell you how essential and important their work is for so many families in great, and often desperate, need. No one should be going hungry and your support can truly help. Any contribution, however small or large, would be greatly appreciated.
