TAILORING CLASSES GIVE HOPE
new skills are changing lives
Closing date: 01 October 2026
Story
In Nepal it is very difficult for women to get jobs and many live everyday from hand to mouth. We want to help these very poor vulnerable women who basically have nothing. We seek to empower them and give them skills and resources they need to have a better life and give them hope and a future.
Tailoring classes teaching, women how to tailor clothes, will take place in Dhapasi Kathmandu under the guidance of Pastor David and his wife Maria. (Himalayan Foundation Nepal)
When the women complete the course we offer them a sewing machine, and teach them business skills to help them run a business from home or in a shop.
In the future we hope to train Tailoring teachers, so they spread skills in rural Nepal
The money raised will be sent to Christians Abroad Charity who then will send it direct to The Himalayan foundation. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
Raising funds for
the hope and love these women receive can be seen in their smiling faces. well done
