ECARD Malison's 200k Walk

Story

ECRAD as charity support and care for orphans and vulnerable children in the community of Zioya, Malawi. 

We feed 420 orphans daily as well as providing nursery, primary and secondary education to c1,000 children. 

Due to limited funds we have not been able to provide accomodation for teachers and most rent in the local community. These are inadequate for needs and are very far from the school requiring long walk making them tired when come to work and also exposed to danger as travel esp at night.

Malison Ndau director of ECRAD is undertaking a fundraising walk to raise money towards the building of houses to support the teachers.

Malison is going to walk 200k in 30 days. 200k is the distance on average a teacher has to walk per month to get to the Zioya site to teach.
