For the third year in a row Lebanon continues to wrestle with compounded crises that range from corruption to a sharp economic decline, devaluation of the local currency, unprecedented hyperinflation, and the aftermath of the devastating port of Beirut explosion – all of which have so far rendered around 80% of the country’s population living below the poverty line. Your support will enable our relief and development arm, MERATH, provide much needed food, health, & winterization assistance to families in Beirut and beyond who are sinking deeper and deeper into poverty.  Standing by our people in their hour of need gives them hope in a country where frustration and hopelessness prevail.
