Story
This year our Happy Child Walk has been organised to raise funds to feed vulnerable families in the poorest parts of Recife.
The northeast region of Brazil is most affected with food insecurity, mainly due to the long periods of drought, fragile livelihoods and poor governance and the Covid-19 pandemic has made things even worse.
Our route will take us on a 14 mile circular walk from St Giles Church, Ashtead, via Centenary Wood and Epsom Downs with a stop for lunch at Headley Heath.
