GCS Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Story

Since the end of February 2022, GCS and our partners on the ground have provided 1,200 tonnes of food aid to communities in eastern Ukraine, evacuated 57,700 people to safety, distributed 45,000 Bibles and 150,000 Gospel tracts, and shared the Gospel with over 850,000 people. Our border-crossing teams in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova continue to support untold numbers of refugees fleeing the conflict. 

Concerns are increasing about the strong risk of a further humanitarian crisis this coming winter. GCS are now searching for efficient solutions to support communities with housing, heating, water, and so much more. GCS Missionaries are also developing programmes to provide trauma counselling, evangelistic ministry and church planting. Right now our teams are preparing for our next major rescue mission in eastern Ukraine.
