Story
Albania is one of the poorest countries in Europe.
Vulnerable families account for almost 40% of the children and teens in local churches in Albania. Most youngsters go to church without their parents. Economic difficulty is cited as a major problem impacting the children and teenagers of the churches.
Positively, Albanian church leaders note that the vulnerable children who attend their ministries are very involved. This highlights how well-positioned churches are to offer support and healing for vulnerable children and youth.
