Carols at the Castle 2021

Story

Carols at the Castle is an open air carols event on the town’s iconic bandstand with complimentary hot chocolate and mince pies. In 2019, we saw two thousand locals gather to celebrate the start of the Christmas season in a magical atmosphere.

The event is run by Love Clitheroe, a collective of local churches, charities and The Grand Venue. It is run in partnership with Ribble Valley Borough Council. The event is free, as a gift to the town in the festive season. A live band will lead the carols with lights and special effects to create a magical night. We will be sharing a Christmas message to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

Several churches and The Grand are contributing towards the event. We are now looking for further support from individual donations to help make the event happen.

Any donations not used will be put towards future Carols at the Castle events.
