Ascend vs Homelessness

I don’t think you need to hear it from us for you to know and understand how much of a problem homelessness is in society right now, it’s been this way for too long.

According to research, 280,000 people are currently living homeless in the UK (1 in 200 people) & the average age of death for people experiencing homelessness is 45 for men & 43 for women, taking nearly 30 years off the national average age of death.

Ascend wants to help change that.

So on 11th September 2021, 40+ Ascend team members are climbing Mount Snowdon in an attempt to raise over £500 for our chosen charity - Embassy. It’s around 9 miles there and back & we’ll be climbing over 3,100 feet.

So please help us fight Homelessness and to hit our £500 goal for Embassy!
