Story

Thank you for coming to the Cream Tea at Wimborne St. Giles. We are pleased to see you. Your donation will contribute towards another well in Burkina Faso, West Africa - one of the poorest countries in the world. It is also in the most neglected terrorist troubled area with about 2 million Internally Displaced People having been forced to leave their homes.

Myra's Wells is a Christian Charity which has been drilling wells in Burkina Faso for 20 years. By God's grace, at the time of writing (June 2026), 375 wells have already been provided. Each well helps needy people who would otherwise have either no access to clean water, or would have to queue for a long time to wait for their turn at a hand pump or tap.
