Utter Wisdom Book Project

Story

This project aims to take proverbs from around the world and create simple, fun and easy to use lessons, to help learners improve their language skills and be a bridge to deeper conversations that will lead to the person and work of Jesus.

Contents:

Introduction with instructions on how to best use the book in a classroom or café.

Section one is a series of 60 proverbs from around the world. Each proverb will be written in the original language, with a direct translation, and an explanation of the meaning. Each proverb will also have accompanying activities, to be used in the classroom.

Section two is made up of further proverbs grouped into five parts that will be used as ‘bridging’ proverbs to ask and ponder some of the big questions of life.

Section three is then five ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus. Which answer the big questions broached in the previous section. Each of the ‘I am’ sayings will be accompanied by an illustration.
