The Wye and Brook India Trust (WBIT) supports the education of children in Delhi whose parents would struggle to send them to school without additional help. The primary and secondary schools and vocational centres that WBIT support are run by the Delhi Brotherhood Society but children are supported irrespective of their religious affiliation.

We visited the schools in September. They had been seriously affected by COVID but are up and running well again.

Just £120 covers uniform, books etc for a year, enabling a child to go to school. This is particularly important in preventing early marriage for girls, which often has serious negative consequences.
