Story

St Mary's Cathedral is the mother church of the Diocese of Edinburgh in the Scottish Episcopal Church. We are part of the world-wide Anglican communion and thus have very close links with the Church of England, as well as maintaining strong ecumenical ties with our Presbyterian neighbours (the Church of Scotland).

We undertake a huge variety of work, from our daily services to charitable outreach to our music programme and education. In everything we do, we honour Jesus Christ and live out his example in our daily lives.

All this work, and the upkeep of this spectacular building, is an expensive undertaking. Any and all help you can give will be greatly received! All the funds raised, no matter how large or small, will go straight to the Cathedral, to make sure we continue our work.
