Smile Children's Charity Village

Story

The Smile Children's Charity Village is a home in Uganda for South Sudanese young people orphaned while they were refugees. The village was set up by Francis Candiga who has provided the children and young people with a home and a future. We have already raised £4,800 to enable training schemes for 25 young people to learn hairdressing and tailoring. Our fund raising focus now is set up a poultry farm as a small business to help provide future funding for the village. It will cost a further £4,800 to set up a farm with 1,000 chicks.
